1) Year-End Message from President

Dear Members of the AIT Community,

As the year comes to a close, I want to thank you all for the warmth and support you’ve shown since I began my presidency in September 2024. It is both an honor and a privilege to continue AIT’s proud legacy and lead our institute toward new frontiers of innovation, scholarship, and service.

We’ve seen tremendous progress this year—from rejuvenated campus life in the post-Covid era to another memorable graduation ceremony. These achievements reflect our collective resilience, dedication, and spirit of innovation.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to deepen AIT’s global impact through interdisciplinary research, strong industry partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable solutions. We are grateful to our Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, alumni, and partners for their invaluable support.

As you enjoy the well-deserved year-end break, I hope you find time to rest and recharge. Thank you for being part of this vibrant community, and I look forward to our continued journey together in 2025.

Warm regards and Season’s Greetings!

Prof. Pai-Chi Li

3) Gentle Reminder: AIA Medical Insurance Coverage for 2024-2025

We are pleased to inform you that AIA remains our medical insurance provider. Please find below the coverage under the basic plan and the top-up plans.

Please note that if you are currently enrolled in any top-up plans and do not inform us of your decision to either continue or change your plan, you will automatically be enrolled in the basic plan only.

Please click on the link to continue with your current top-up plan or to choose a different one. The deadline to update your insurance plan is January 8, 2025.

Please note the following conditions for the top-up option plan.

  1. Employees can purchase a top-up plan for themselves but do not need to do so for their dependent(s). Dependent(s) can still be covered by the basic plan.
  2. If you wish to purchase a top-up plan for your dependent(s), it should not be higher than your top-up plan i.e. an employee can buy Option 2 and dependent(s) should have either Option 1 or Option 2 only.
  3. If you plan to purchase or upgrade your current top-up plan for your dependent(s), a health declaration form is required. AIA will assess the health declaration of your dependent(s) and reserves the right not to approve the top-up plan of the dependent(s).  In that event, your dependent(s) will still be covered under the basic plan
  4. Employees can not change from the basic plan to the top-up plan during the policy year (2024-2025)
